No. Explera never provides flights: not your international flight to Bali or Jakarta, and not domestic or inter-island flights such as Jakarta to Denpasar or a hop to Lombok. We provide hotel, transfers and activities on the ground. Book flights only after your itinerary dates are confirmed in the portal.

Hosted tiers start at 150,000 followers on your primary channel, whether that is Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or an equivalent blog audience. Below 150k we still reply and may offer a single activity or tour under Spotlight. Above five million, Bespoke trips are planned with you individually.

Travel creators aged 18 or over, with a verifiable primary channel and their own blog or website. We check reach, engagement quality, audience geography, niche fit with our Bali and Jakarta catalogue and the quality of recent work. Bought followers, engagement pods or undisclosed past sponsorships end the conversation.

Yes. Every applicant needs their own blog or website in addition to their primary social channel, Spotlight applicants included. A link-in-bio page or social profile does not count. We confirm the site is live and yours during review, and your pre-trip announcement and post-trip blog post are published there.

Your tier's hotel nights, airport transfers and agreed activities are provided. You pay for flights, visas, travel insurance, Bali's tourist levy and other government charges for foreign visitors, and personal extras such as drinks, spa add-ons, souvenirs and upgrades we have not agreed. Explera pays no cash fees.

From Rising upwards, yes: one night at 3-star or equivalent for Rising, two or four nights at 4-star or equivalent for Established and Signature, and five nights at 5-star or equivalent for Authority, all with breakfast. Spotlight normally includes one activity without a hotel. Where you stay in Bali depends on the experiences in your programme.

Once approved, and before your first travel day, you publish two announcements: a social post saying you are travelling to Indonesia with Explera, tagging @expleradmc, and a blog post on your own site announcing the trip with a link to the agreed Explera page. Submit both in the portal with URLs and screenshots.

Every hosted post is disclosed according to your audience's market. For Indonesian audiences, a label such as #iklan or a line like Perjalanan ini disponsori oleh Explera DMC is indicative. UK audiences follow ASA rules and US audiences FTC rules. The exact wording for your collaboration is written into your agreement.

No. The collaboration is non-exclusive. You can work with other brands, hotels or destinations before and after your Bali trip. We only ask that the hosted content itself is disclosed properly and carries the agreed tags and links. Any paid or commissioned work runs separately through the brand-collaboration desk.

No. We never script or pre-approve editorial content. If a Nusa Penida road was rough or a viewpoint was crowded, you can say so. We check only the agreed tags, links and disclosure, and we may ask for a factual correction, such as a safety detail or an entrance rule that has changed.

Apply at least three weeks before you want to travel. Scheduling needs at least one week after the agreement is signed, and Bali's dry season and holiday peaks fill first. Check your dates against Nyepi, the Day of Silence, when the island and its airport shut down for 24 hours.

One companion is usually allowed on day tours if agreed in advance and named in your itinerary. Their flights, visa, insurance and personal extras are not provided. Some activities, such as the Batur night climb or the Nusa Penida boat day, need your companion to be fit and to follow the same safety rules.

Possibly, but not without checking. Indonesia regulates drone flights, restrictions apply near airports and in parts of Jakarta, and many temples, landowners and operators require permission or ban drones outright. Rules change, so check the current requirements before you travel and tell us in your application. Any permits are your responsibility.

Wear a sarong and sash, do not climb shrines or walls, and stay out of closed inner courtyards. Ceremonies take priority: ask before filming worshippers and never step on offerings. By local custom, menstruating women are traditionally asked not to enter; we mention it privately and respect your choice of visits.

Weather, rough sea, volcanic alerts, ceremonies and Nyepi can all change a Bali plan. When an activity cannot run safely, we move or swap it within your programme. Missed or cancelled flights are covered by your airline and your travel insurance, which is mandatory, not by Explera. The agreement sets out disruption terms.

We use your application data to assess the collaboration and, if you are approved, to run your trip. Transfers to Explera entities in other countries need your separate consent. Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (No. 27/2022) applies, alongside the laws of other countries involved. You can export or delete your data from the portal.

Yes. You can apply for Indonesia here and for Thailand, Japan or South Korea on their own sites. Trips combining two or more countries are offered from Signature upwards through the group hub. Each country is reviewed on its own merits, and flights between countries are never provided.

Submit each deliverable in the portal with the live URL and screenshots within 30 days of your last travel day. We verify it and mark the collaboration complete. Creators who deliver well are invited back with stronger offers, and we may ask your permission to feature the collaboration as a story.
