What is the day like?

An early transfer to the harbour, a crossing that often involves wading to board, then a driver and guide on the island. Viewpoints are spread out along roads that are narrow, steep and in places rough, so time between stops is longer than the map suggests.

Is it safe?

• The path down to Kelingking Beach is very steep and exposed; the viewpoint at the top is the shot most people need.
• Stay behind barriers and off cliff edges. Swell at the rock pools on the coast can be dangerous.
• Boats do not run, or run late, in rough sea. We move the day rather than cross in bad conditions.
• Keep electronics in a dry bag for the crossing.

Can I stay overnight?

Most hosted visits are day trips. An overnight stay can be discussed for higher tiers where the programme allows it.
